Pathways to Wave Rock
The township of Kondinin serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the Pathways to Wave Rock Drive Trail.
This self-drive trail presents a variety of distinctive Wheatbelt experiences, connecting the Shires of Bruce Rock, Corrigin, Kondinin, Kulin, Lake Grace, Narembeen, and Quairading.
With its colossal granite outcrops, breathtaking vistas, vibrant wildflowers, and genuine country hospitality, this trail showcases a wealth of unique encounters throughout the region. Many of the area's iconic landmarks, including Wave Rock, can be easily reached for delightful day trips.

Yeerakine Rock
Yeerakine Rock is situated 13 kilometers south of Kondinin, accessible via the Williams-Kondinin Road. Similar to many rocks in the Wheatbelt region, it was originally a crucial source of rainwater. The rock was first observed by Europeans during John Septimus Roe's exploration of the area.

Statues Lake
The lake, referred to locally as Statues Lake, is truly a remarkable place. Throughout different times of the year, it transforms into a vivid yellow-green hue due to the growth of algae. This phenomenon is said to frequently occur around November.

Kondinin Lake
Kondinin boasts a vast salt lake just a 5km drive west of the town, favored by locals as a summer retreat following a fruitful rainy season. This picturesque location is perfect for birdwatchers, wildflower admirers, and enthusiasts of sailing, kayaking, and water sports like skiing.
On the eastern side of the lake lies the Pioneer Cemetery (1910-1950).

Community Garden
Kondinin Community Garden represents the town's initiative to transform an underutilized space into a vibrant area for community benefit and enjoyment at minimal cost. Previously, the site served as the town's local pool until its closure due to plumbing problems. Funded by volunteers in 2016, the Community Garden project now collaborates closely with the Shire of Kondinin.

Wildflowers
The prime season for wildflowers in Kondinin occurs between August and October, when vibrant blankets of everlastings unfold, and a delightful array of orchids can be spotted across many reserves.
In this period, notable wildflowers to watch for include the Donkey Orchid, the Pink Candy Orchid, and the Broom Milkwort.
